Clarence Sanders, aged about 50 years, died at his home near Wellsford Wharf on Wednesday night last at 8:30 0'clock, after an illness of a week or more, having suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Sanders was on of our most highly esteemed citizens, and had a large circle of devoted friends and relatives who are deeply grieved at his death. He is survived by his widow and six children, six brothers and three sisters, Messrs. James, Cortez, Randolph, Lloyd, Vernon, and Wharton Sanders, and Mrs. Fred Settle, Jr., Mrs. Joe Settle and Miss Princess Sanders. Interment will take place in the family burying ground this (Friday) afternoon.
