Marion Brenay Webb

Marion Brenay Webb passed peacefully from this world on Friday, January 13, 2012, just as the day was coming to a close, at the Banner Ironwood Hospital in San Tan Valley, Arizona. She was 88 years old. Near the time of her passing, she was surrounded by family members who loved her, and she was listening to stories about them. She loved to hear family stories. As the stories came to an end and her family members left.
Marion knew that it was time to join her parents, infant son, brothers and sisters, who preceded her in death. She left this world for the next with two of her daughters holding her hands. Marion's greatest memorial and example were the love that she had for her husband, James Webb, son, 4 daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Marion took great pride as a homemaker. She was an amazing cook and seamstress and she found time for music and writing poetry. Those who were fortunate enough to be around when Marion took her homemade wheat bread from the oven were truly given "manna from heaven." She strived for excellence in all that she did and she passed this on to her children. she was her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's #1 fan, going to their individual sports and musical events as often as she could.
Marion spent her life in service to her family and others. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marion's second greatest love was for that of The Church and she donated many hours in various church callings from Ward Primary President to teacher. She even was able to serve a temple mission with her husband. Marion truly felt that her greatest contribution was her musical talent and she spent many years playing the organ or piano. All whomever had the privilege to hear her play were moved by the beauty of her music.
Marion is survived by her sweetheart of a husband, of 71 years, James W. Webb of Wagon Wheel, Arizona and San Tan Valley Arizona; 1 son, Sheldon (Inez) Webb of Casa Grande, Arizona (currently serving as missionaries in a Peru Mission; 4 daughters: Diane (Scott) Hall of Wagon Wheel, Arizona, Daphne (Curtis) Scott of El Dorado, California, Drinette (Don) Ellison of San Tan Valley, Arizona, DeEdra (Richard) Breckenridge of Charlotte, North Carolina; 3 sisters: Mickey Allred, Martha Lemon, Joan Lake; 2 brothers: Ammon Brenay, Isaac Brenay; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles Albert and Marian Beulah (Skinner) Brenay; a son, Jamar Webb; 5 brothers: David, Henry, Moroni, Arnold, Joseph; 2 sisters: Ruth, Virginia; 2 great-grandchildren: Natelyn and Lauren.
The funeral service will begin 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Pinetop Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1520 Church Lane in Lakeside, Arizona (just across from the Lakeside Post Office) where condolences may be shared with her family beginning 1 hour prior.
The concluding service and interment will follow at the Vernon, Cemetery in Vernon, Arizona
