OBITUARY
Robert Jackson Biggs was born in Ohio 1840, died in Grant county, Oklahoma, Saturday, April 13, 1912, age about 72 years.
Mr. Biggs served our country as a soldier in the Civil War until its close.
He was married the second time after coming to Oklahoma to Miss Louisa Lyons, who with her three children, Alice, Robert and James, survive him. There were also two children, Mable and Harry, born to his first union.
Mr. Biggs has not been a professor of religion during the larger part of his life, but said two years ago, he was prepared to die, and has claimed that hope ever since.
Funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery five miles south of the church. Rev. A.M. Sprague officiated.
