John J. Sheehan, Coer Rd., Prospect, died yesterday, at Waterbury Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Waterbury, son of the late James and Mary (Reily) Sheehan, he resided in Prospect for the past four years. He was employed by the Chase Brass and Copper Co., for over 20 years. He was a veteran of World War 11, serving in the Army, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church, Prospect.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Suzanne (Blais) Sheehan, Prospect; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Capaldo, Waterbury; two brothers, James Sheehan, Cornwall, and Francis Sheehan, Waterbury; four sisters, Miss Florine Sheehan, Mrs. Lillian Vaicaitis and Mrs. Walter Moore, all of Waterbury, and Mrs. Stanley Killian, Detroit , Mich.; two grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. from the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main St., to St. Anthony's Church, Prospect for a high Mass at 9:30. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
