Jo Anne M. Fesenmaier, 78, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at her home. The former Jo Anne Mae Hunt was born in Chippewa Falls, WI, on May 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Newell and Mary (Comerford) Hunt. She graduated from Saint Patrick's Catholic High School in Eau Claire, WI in 1950. On Oct. 11, 1953, in San Diego, CA, she was united in marriage to Robert Fesenmaier. She was a member of Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI.
Jo Anne is survived by Robert, her husband of 57 years; two children, Michael (Deirdre) Fesenmaier of Lake Geneva, WI, and Mary Jo (David Wollman) Fesenmaier of Lake Geneva; four grandchildren: Timothy, Sarah, James, and Rachel; a great-grandson, Kody; a brother, James (Sally) Hunt of Chula Vista, CA; and two sisters, Miriam (LaMoine) Robertson of Eau Claire, WI, and Judy LaBelle of Eau Claire, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Hunt; and a sister, Patricia Werlein.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. in SAINT FRANCIS DE SALES CATHOLIC CHURCH in Lake Geneva; Father Terry Huebner will officiate. The Fesenmaier family will receive visitors Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the HAASE-DERRICK-LOCKWOOD FUNERAL HOME in LAKE GENEVA, where a parish Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. For online guest registry go to: hdlfuneralhomes.com.
