Son of John Henry & Barbara E. (Raines) Westfall, married Louella May Hutton 7 May 1905 in Kanawha County, W.Va. Together, they had three children. About 1917, Ben abandoned his family in Charleston, & ran off to Akron, Ohio with Mary Aurora Shinn from near Ripley, Jackson County, W.Va. After Louella divorced Ben, he & Aurora were married 26 Feb 1919 in Canton, Ohio
