Don F. Hughes died from an accidental fall from a bunk-bed in a recreational vehicle when the ladder broke and punctured an artery in his groin as he fell. He was transported to the Glenrock Diagnostic and Treatment Center and on to Memorial Hospital in Casper where he died several hours later. He was owner of Hughes Lumber and Hardware in Glenrock as well as a second-hand store in Casper. He married Mary Wonsetter in Leoti, Kansas on Aug. 5, 1956. In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by a daughter, Anita Hughes of Mills, his mother Golden Hughes of Delhi, Calif.; three brothers, George Hughes of Emporia, Kansas; Howard Hughes of Fredonia, Kansas; and John Hughes of Leoti, Kansas; four sisters, Ruth Koeh of Delhi; Helen Walker and Dorothy Neese, both from Fredonia; and Erma Goyer of Las Vegas, Nevada; and one grandson, Justin Hughes of Glenrock.
