Linda Tubbs, 69, of Big Spring died Monday, January 16, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Ron Westbrook officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
Linda was born March 4, 1942, in Brownwood to Loena and Bud Smith.
She moved to Big Spring in 1954 from Brownwood.
Linda married Grady Tubbs on July 6, 1962, in Big Spring.
She worked several years at Malone and Hogan Hospital. Later she worked at Walmart, retiring in 1997.
Linda is survived by her husband: Grady Tubbs of Big Spring; one son: John Tubbs of Big Spring; one granddaughter: Sohnna Williams and her husband Jason of Big Spring; two great grandsons: Caleb Williams and Ayden Williams, both of Big Spring; one sister: Lougenia Langdale of Lubbock; one niece: Kim Thomas and her husband Thornton of Lubbock; one nephew: Duane Cadzow of Hale Center, one great niece: Tonya Lott of Lubbock; two great nephews: J. J. Lott and Justin Cadzow; and four great great nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter: Susan Crawford on December 7, 2004.
Pallbearers will be Thornton Thomas, J. J. Lott, Jason Williams, and John Hanes.
