Thomas and his oldest son, Thomas Jr. both served in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina. They stayed in North Carolina until about 1792, when they moved to the Natchez District, in what is now Claiborne Co. Miss., which he acquired through Rev. War grants and purchases. Thomas Sr. served on the first panel of jurors in Claiborne Co. in 1802. He was a commissioner who helped purchase land for the first courthouse. According to on line sources, his wife was Margaret. Here is a list of the children who were in his will:

2. Lucy White Angle b 1742
3. Joseph White b 1745
4. Rachel White Parks Larkin b 1745
5. Mildred White Hightower b 1751
6. Susannah White Henson b 1753
7. Benjamin White b 1756
8. Agnes White b 1757
9. Reuben White b 1758
10. Urcilla White b 1762
11. Margaret Ann White b 1766

Both Thomas Sr, and Thomas Jr are buried on White family land, although no one knows exactly where the graves are. The land is said to be in Port Gibson. Thomas Jr has a memorial stone in Wintergreen Cemetery.

Thomas White, Sr wrote his will on Feb 21, 1803. His will was probated Oct 6, 1804.

Son Thomas White and his wife, Sarah, to have slaves. Estate to be divided between: Lucy Angle, Joseph White, Rachel Parks, Mildred Hightower, Thomas White, Susanna Henson, Hirtley Baker, Agnes Simpson, save ten shillings to sons Benjamin and Reuben White. Exrs: son Thomas White, and Samuel Gibson. Wit: Gideon James, Julius Smith, Jesse
Griffin. Probated before Samuel Bridgers, Chief Justice for County of Claiborne.
