STRATFORD - David Angle, 89, of the Stratford Care Center, died Monday, Feb. 26, at the Boone County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Stratford Lutheran Church, Rev. Jenny Edinger officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, north of Stratford. Visitation at the Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Stratford will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
David Angle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Angle, was born March 4, 1900, in King City, Mo. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by six children: Robert Angle, St. Joseph, Mo.; Twila Wagers, Lakeside, Ariz.; Marla Andrews, West Des Moines; Davene Runyan, Boone; David Angle, Blair, Neb.; and Margo Haman, Stratford; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
