Obituary from the Illinois newspaper dated February 4, 1937:

Oliver M. Crumbaker, 86, brother of the the late Mrs. William Stickler of Lexington, died at his home near Cropsey at 2 P.M. Friday, January 29, 1937, after a long illness. Funeral services were held from the Fairview church at 2 P.M. Monday. Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery. Mr. Crumbaker was born in Ohio, November 15, 1850. He came to Illinois with his parents in 1864 traveling through in a covered wagon. They settled first in Lawndale neighborhood and later moved to the vicinity of Fairview church where Mr. Crumbaker has lived since 1872. November 2, 1873 he married Miss Sarah A. Stickler who died 13 years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Paul and Oliver W., and two daughters, Mrs. Cora Shepherd and Mrs. Alta Thomas, all of whom reside in the Fairview neighborhood. One daughter, Mrs. Beulah James, preceded him in death. There also six grandchildren.
