(They divorced, and Sarah Lee (15 Jun 1923-07 Sep 1990) died in Florida under the name Sarah Lee Banks.) He later married Jo Merle (Young) Duke, the widow of Edward Renegar Duke. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home for Gordon Barnes, who died Saturday morning (Feb. 8, 1992) in Lincoln Skilled Care Center following a long illness. He was 77.
Wayne Barnes officiated and burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
