She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Edgar and Blanche Westerberg.
On Jan. 18, 1948, she married Earl Stoddard. They lived briefly in Ashton, Idaho, and later moved to Idaho Falls. They were later divorced.
Throughout her life she worked at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory as an office manager, in the real estate business, and operated a nursery school, which she loved.
She was a certified nursing assistant and provided care for the terminally ill.
She was active in civic affairs and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, YMCA, United Way and the Red Cross.
Survivors include her two sons, Scott W. Stoddard of Idaho Falls and Jeffree L. (Suzanne) Stoddard of Idaho Falls; five grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and two brothers, Bates Westerberg of New York and Dennis Westerberg of Idaho Falls.
A private memorial service was held.
