Mrs. Knox was born June 14, 1905 in the Benford community of Polk County and died Wednesday, Aug. 11, in Crestview Villa Nursing Home in Corrigan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Corrigan.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ellis L. and Penny Knox of Burke, Va.; stepson and wife, Harland and Agnes Knox of Orange; stepdaughter, Evelyn Mullins of Pasadena; sisters-in-law, Anna Bell Handley of Livingston and Clementine Knox of Corrigan; brother-in-law and wife, J.D. and Mable Knox of Corrigan; grandson, Lance Cpl. Dwayne Knox of 29 Palms, Calif.; granddaughter, LeeAnn Knox of Burke, Va. and numerous other step-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
