Her husband John Cromwell, is buried in the Hendrick Cemetery. A picture of his stone is with his listing. Their daughter Nellie Cromwell McDonald (24 February 1856-22April 1875) is buried just up the road in Grant Cemetery in Cass County. By the time Lurana died, both her husband and daughter had died within the past 2 years. It had to be devastating to the family. Her sons were not all grown. John, Henry and Burnside traveled west. Burnside ended up a newspaper editor in San Francisco. William, my gr grandfather came to Cincinnati, Ohio.
