Violet M. Berogan, 89, formerly of Blairsburg, died Thursday April 13, 2006 at the Bethany Life Communities, Story City, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006 at the Faith United Methodist Church, 2020 Superior St., Webster City. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Willer. Friends may call from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Violet M. Berogan daughter of Floyd K. and Rosy C. (Miller) Berleen was born on a farm northeast of Webster City August 9, 1916. She attended school at Mulberry Center. On May 10, 1935 Violet was united in marriage to Mark L. Berogan.

Violet was an inspiration to many and was always strong in her faith. She taught Sunday School, Bible School, and was a Youth Group leader for many years. Violet was not afraid to work and enjoyed working side by side with her loving husband Mark on the family farm. Violet thought of others first, she sent cards to the shut-ins, was always supportive and very encouraging to her family and friends. Violet is now at home with her Lord and Savior and her best friend.

Mrs. Berogan was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Jessie Nicholson, Erma Irene Berleen, three brothers; John, Earl, and William Berleen.
