Eric James Wise, 42, of Carrollton passed away June 6, 2008 in Aultman Hospital. Born Dec. 22, 1965, in Steubenville, he was the son of Loretta V. Wise and the late Clarence Wise. He was a crane operator at Commonwealth Aluminum Aleris Plant. He graduated from Carrollton High School in 1984 and was a member of Harsh Memorial United Methodist Church of Harlem Springs and Ohio Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, the former Staci R. Walters, whom he married Oct. 17, 1987; a son, Eric Justin Wise; two daughters, Kirsten Renee and Kelsey Shae Wise; brothers and sisters, Ginger (Phillip) Lautzenheiser, Diane Resop, Norma (David) Grey, Nelson (Debbie) Wise, Joe (Paula) Wise, Pauline (Albert) Beard and Donna Wise; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Shirley Wise and brother, Eugene Wise. Funeral services were held June 11 at Harsh Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor James Porter officiating. Burial followed in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
