Frances L. Eidson, daughter of Paul and Frances Houghton, returned to Heavenly Father in the loving arms of her daughter on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 after a bravely fought battle with kidney failure.

Born on October 13, 1928 in Eureka, Utah. "Bonnie" to her friends and family, graduated from Provo High School then went on to join the military in 1947 where she met and married M. David Eidson of Forest Park, GA. They were blessed with two daughters and one son. The couple divorced after 25 years.

Bonnie went on to retire from the security team at the Utah State Hospital in Provo after twenty years of service. She was an avid reader and loved pets of every kind.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Pace of Nephi, UT; and her son David of El Mirage, AZ; two brothers, James Houghton of Colorado; Frank Roberts of Utah; and her sister, Patricia Corbin of Texas. She was the grandmother of four and great grandmother of three.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Paul Houghton; daughter, Denise; grandson, Gregg; and granddaughter, Stacey.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah.
