MISHAWAKA - Bernard W. Rowe, 70, of Eastgate Circle, died at 7:50 a.m. Sunday in
St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mr. Rowe retired from Corby Homes
Apartments, South Bend. He was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Petersburg, Ind.
On May 6, 1950, in Niles, he married Betty Godfrey. She survives with two
daughters, Peggy Dawson of Osceola and Terry Rizzo of South Bend; a son, B.J. of
South Bend; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kay Nicks
of South Bend. He was a veteran of World War II and was a charter member of
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 624, Roseland.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St.
Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
