Dick was born May 17, 1940, in the Calhoun area, Richland County, the son of Charles T. and Eva (Johnson) Myers. He married Barbara Dean in March of 1958. She preceded him in death in 1967. He married Barbara "Barbie" Rich in 1968. He married Linda (Keith) Brown in July of 1993.
He owned and operated Myers Auto Trim for 40 years, from 1971-2011. He was a member of Prior Grove Baptist Church in rural Oblong. He was a East Richland High School graduate, Class of 1958. He was past Exalted Ruler of Robinson Elks Lodge #1188, and member of White Squirrels Motorcycle Club and ABATE Motorcycle Club. Dick enjoyed camping, motorcycles and gardening. He just loved to be outdoors.
Dick is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steven R. and Paula J. Myers; daughters, Peggy S. Price and Gina K. Smith; grandchildren, Tyler and Carolyn Price, Emily Price, Austin and Colin Smith, and Lewis and Harlei Myers; great-grandson, Lincoln Charles Price, of Newburgh, Ind.; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenny Myers, and Dewey and Karen Myers; sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Reynolds, of Olney, Dorothy and John McDowell, Betty Brammeier, and Conni Stevens; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eva Myers; one brother, Chester Lee Myers; stepmother, Debra Lee Myers; and one niece.
An Elks memorial service will follow the visitation on Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pulliam Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Monroney and Pastor Rusty Morecraft officiating.
Burial will be in Houser Cemetery in rural Richland County.
Memorials may be made to Prior Grove Baptist Church or Robinson Elks Lodge #1188. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
