Corey A. Buxton, 15, of Tolman Avenue, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer from injuries received earlier that evening.
Corey was born in Leominster, December 29, 1996, a son of Mark E. Buxton Jr. and Michelle M. Driscoll and has been a lifelong resident of the Ayer & Shirley area. He was currently a member of the Freshman class at the Ayer-Shirley Regional High School.

Besides his father of Shirley and his mother of Worcester, he leaves two sisters, Amber Pike of Gardner, Katherine Krieger of Ayer; his paternal grandparents, Mark E, Buxton Sr. of Shirley, Tracy Buxton of Florida; his maternal grandfather, Joseph L. Driscoll Jr. of New Hamsphire, his maternal great grandmother, Muriel Driscoll of Ayer, an uncle, Blake Buxton of Shirley; two aunts, Cindy Fauller of Newton and Tonya Driscoll of Baldwinville. He also leaves several cousins.

Corey enjoyed skateboarding, music and drawing. Last year he played in the Ayer- Shirley Pop Warner Football program.
