Grace Ardra Callahan, 69, of 16 Academy St., died of cancer on Dec. 20, 2007, at her home in Epping. She was born in Bar Harbor, Maine, the daughter of the late Jefferson and Evelyn Cosseboom.

The wife of the late Kevin D. Callahan, she is survived by two sons, Daniel A. Callahan of Milo, Maine, and Kevin D. Callahan Jr., of Opelika, Ala; five daughters, Theresa Sprague of Milton, Grace A. and her husband, Dale Frost Jr. of Epping, Helen L. Cooley of East Lempster, Lisa A. Scholtz of Somersworth, and Lorraine E. Wentworth of Milton; 13 grandchildren, Kerilynn and Johnathan Frost of Epping, Celia and Kristina Cooley of East Lempster, Samantha Hackett of Texas, Russell and Elizabeth Scholtz of Somersworth, Charlie Wentworth and David McLaughlin of Milton, Brittnee and Nichole Callahan of Opelika, and Ryan and Danielle Hills of Exeter; two sisters, Carlene Hawley and Lois Cosseboom of Cape Cod, Mass; and two brothers, Walter Cosseboom of Meriden, Conn, and Francis "Red" Cosseboom of New City, NY; and close friends, Skip Thompson of Epping, and Charles Wentworth of Maine.

She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Ann Crawford, and a brother, Alan Cosseboom.

She will be sorely and deeply missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, from 5-8pm at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home in the spring. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Epping.
