Charles "Charlie" Jackson Smith was a son of Andrew Jackson "Jack" Smith and Emma Margaret (Johnson) Smith. He first married Carrie M. (White) Smith and their children were Cinderella Smith, Milton Smith, Charles Ellis Smith, Clarence Smith, Clinton Smith, Coy Smith, Earl Smith and Tommy Smith. After Carrie's death, Charlie married Florence Evelyn (Durant) Quinley, the ex-wife of his second cousin, Brenard Quinley. Florence had 6 children by her union with Brenard.
