LAMONT (Special) — Lloyd Carner was born May 21, 1891 near Edgewood, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rosswell Carner, and passed away at his home in Lamont on Oct. 19.
He was united in marriage on Feb. 20, 1913 to Blanche Grapes. He lived in Lamont nearly all of his life where he was employed by the G. W. Railroad until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, two children, Mrs. Wilfred Macheak Forest City and Mrs. Nelly Richmond,
of Lamont, three grandchildren, a brother Earl of Quasqueton; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Jewell of Park Rapids. Minn., and Mrs. Laurel Love of Los Angeles.
Funeral services were held at the Kresussel-Fawcett Funeral Home Friday. Oct. 21 with Rev. Fred Dietderich officiating. Burial was in Campton cemetery.
