The following entries, taken from the minute book of Probate Judge Allen B. Glenn, constitute the business transacted in the Probate Court of Cass County, Missouri, for the period ending Monday, July 22:
Vacation Minutes.
ESTATE OF
Agnes L. Jones, deceased. M. F. Duncan proves to the judge that Agnes L. Jones, late resident of Cass County, departed this life July 15, 1929, leaving a will disposing of her property, and files an instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of decedent, which was signed by the testatrix and witnessed by A. R. Elder, Jessie M. Brierly and J. B. Brierly. The judge further finds that the testatrix appointed M. F. Duncan as executrix of her last will and testament to act as such without being required to give bond, and such appointment is now confirmed. The executor files affidavit of heirs as follow-: M. F. Duncan and Archie B. Holloway, niece and nephew, children of Sarah E. Coates, a deceased sister; Elizabeth Turner, Gertrude Brooks and Archie Boggs. nieces and nephews, children of J. C. Boggs, a deceased brother. Letters Testamentary are granted M. F. Duncan and H. G. Glenn, Joel R. Ewing and Arthur L. Bybee are appointed witnesses to assist in making inventory and appraisal of the estate.
