Mrs. Eleonora Weidner, 89, of 733 Adams Street, Kiel, died Wednesday morning, November 24, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, where she had been a patient for six days.
The former Eleonora Horneck was born October 23, 1893, in the town of Rhine, a daughter of the late George and Katherine Zimmermann Horneck. She attended district school. On April 18, 1917 she married Roland Weidner at St. Peter United church of Christ, town of Meeme until retiring in 1962, when they moved to Kiel. Mr. Weidner died in 1965. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Town of Herman.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Hortense Weidner, of Kiel, and two brothers, Arno Horneck of Milwaukee, and Francis Horneck of rural Elkhart Lake. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Saturday at St. John UCC. The Rev. Dean Roy Miller, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
