Mrs. Weidner is Summoned After Lingering Illness
Mrs. Bertha Weidner, 70, died at the home of her son, Roland, Town of Meeme,
Wednesday night after a lingering illness. She was born Feb. 23, 1870 in
the Town of Sheboygan Falls, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mahler. She was
married to Moritz Weidner on Feb. 3, 1891 and the couple located on the present
homestead in the Town of Meeme. Mr. Weidner died on Jan. 27, 1933.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Hildegarde) ?, Rhine Center; one son,
Roland on the homestead, Town of Meeme; three grandchildren and one sister,
Mrs. William I. Kehl, Sheboygan.
The body was removed to the Walter Ahrens Funeral Home in Howards Grove and
will be taken to the home of the son, Roland at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon
when services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock
at St. John's Evangelical Church at Schwartzwald. The Rev. William officiated
with burial in the church cemetery. Friends can view the body at the son's home
from Friday night on.
