Eyvonne Lee Maness was born August 3, 1937 in Lawrence County, TN the daughter of the late Perry Haggard and Flora McAdams Lee.

She was united in marriage to Leon Maness on April 23, 1955.

Mrs. Maness was a member of First Baptist Church of Selmer, having become a Christian at the age of 18. She formerly taught Sunday School, worked with the Girl's Auxiliary, and sang in the choir for over thirty years. Mrs. Maness served as secretary of the Shiloh Baptist Association for 6 years, and operated Eyvonne's Dress Shop in Selmer for 5 years. She loved gardening, flowers, and being outside.

Mrs. Maness departed this life on January 9, 2012 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 74 Years, 5 Months, 6 Days. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leon Maness of Selmer, TN; a son, Tim Maness of Memphis, TN; a grandchild, Chloe Maness of Memphis, TN; three sisters: Shirley Cook of Yantis, TX, Marcie Massey of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Annette Bayless and husband Charlie of Guys, TN; three brothers: Jimmy Lee and wife Vickie of Hohenwald, TN, Bobby Lee of Dallas, TX, and Edward Lee of Dallas, TX; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by three sisters: Daphine Patterson, Peggy Peden, and Dottie Lee; and three brothers: Carmel Lee, Ree Lee, and Thomas Lee.
