Harrison S. Jones, 63, of Magnolia, died Mon., Jan. 9, 2012, at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport, La.

Harrison was born July 23, 1948, in Bearden. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of LIMA 3/1 U.S. Marines and was treasurer of Locust Bayou Volunteer Fire Department.

Those preceding him in death were his father, Alvin Clay Jones; mother, Urlene Branch Jones; brother, Alvin Dwain Jones; and sisters, Marcelene Dickens, Jeannette Turner and Phyllis Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Aycock Jones, of Magnolia; sons, Derek Jones, of Fayetteville, and Kirk Jones, of Little Rock; daughters, Brennan Jones, of San Angelo, Texas, and Kasi Jones, of Lafayette, Ind.; brother, Gus Jones and wife, Sharon, of Belton, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m., Sun., Jan. 15, 2012, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel with Jackie Bevill officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Bearden under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home of Camden.

Visitation is 5 - 7 p.m., Sat., Jan. 14, at the funeral home.
