A Native of Asheville. Mr. Case was a veteran of W.W. II, Korea and Vietnam and retired following 23 years of service in the U.S. Navy where at the time of his retirement was a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He later retired from Taylor Instruments in Quality Control.
Mr. Case was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #781, Fleet Reserve Association Branch #361, VFW Post #891 and served as a volunteer with the Asheville V.A. Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Thomas Melvin and Bertha Lance Case and the husband of Stella Mae Ellenburg Case who died August 11, 1994.
