Patricia Jewel Shannon "Patti" Ramey of Springfield, OR. died Jan. 5, 2004 following a seizure. She was 46. Ramey was born March 17, 1957, in Roseburg to John and Tillie Sanders Ulam. She grew up in Roseburg and lived in Canyonville before settling in Springfield in 1970. She attended Hamlin Middle School and graduated from Springfield High School in 1975. She also attended Canyonville Bible School for three years. She was employed at Green Valley Care Center before working as a cashier at Lane Community College for three years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Springfield. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with senior citizens and children. She especially enjoyed spending time with her own children.She will be remembered as a beautiful and gracious person.Survivors include her parents of Springfield; two sons, Dustin Wilsie of Oregon and Zachery Ramey of Salem; a daughter, Shannon Wilsie of Eugene; two brothers, Joel Ulam of Springfield and John Ulam of Cameron, NC; sister, Sandra Beury of Savannah, GA; one grandchild.
