Thelma B. Reynolds, 92, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005, at Rosewood Health Center. Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2005, at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 1011 a.m. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Thelma was born April 26, 1913, in St. Joseph, MO, to Walter P. and Bertha R. (Litz) Carmichael. She was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church. Thelma was deeply rooted in her faith as she raised her four children. Mrs. Reynolds loved her family, and enjoyed gatherings to celebrate birthdays and holidays. Thelma also enjoyed traveling in her spare time with family and friends. She is survived by her children Bill and wife Olga Reynolds, Jim and wife Donna Reynolds, Betty and husband Terry Snapp, Judy and husband Eric Scott; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her 2 sisters and 2 brothers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Endowment Funds of the Sunshine Center, The Groves, or to the Stone Church.
