Debbie Harris 54 of Elkins died Thursday May 10, 2007 at her home. She was born July 18, 1952 in Fayetteville, AR, the daughter of Charles and Earlene (Stout) Harris. She was retired from Elkins Public Schools. She always liked her job and enjoyed the kids. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband Vernon "Bub" Harris Jr. to whom she married April 14, 1970; a daughter, Traci Mort of Elkins, two sons, Joe Harris and Vernon "Rowdy" Harris III and his wife Rena all of Elkins. Her father and step-mother, Charles and Wanda Harris of Elkins, her mother, Earlene Harris, three brothers, Connie Harris, Mike Harris both of Elkins and Donnie Harris of Modesto, California, two sisters, Jena Wilson of Fayetteville and Christie Grogan of Elkins, two step-brother's, John of Fayetteville and Dennis of Kansas, two step-sister's, Debbie of Kansas and Sharon of Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Cody, Lindsey, Colton and Ryan and alot of cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends she worked with that she thought alot of. Visitation will be 4-6 Sunday at Moore's Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2:00 Monday at Moore's Chapel with buriel at Mount Salem Cemetery.
