She was a homemaker, and was formerly employed by the Loogoote Textile and the Shoals Community School Corp. in the cafeteria. Barbara was a member of St. Mary's of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shoals American Legion Auxillary, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2442 Auxillary.
Her life revolved around her family. Barbie was a wonderful wife and mother, and she was devoted to babysitting for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She adored them and they in turn adored their nanny.
She is greatly loved and missed by:

Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. The Eagles Auxillary will hold a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Joseph Erbacher at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2011 at St. Mary of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery.
