El Dorado: Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon in Chula Baptist Church for Martin Lee Talley, 73 year old retired railroad man of El Dorado. The Rev. Roy Burnette, the Rev T.H. Matthews and the Rev W.L, Chapman officiated. Burial was in the Tifton Cemetery. Mr. Talley died Thursday night at his home and El Dorado after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife: Eunice Sirmans Talley; 3 sons: A.W. Talley, and Jack Talley of Chula, and Martin E Talley of LaGrange 3 daughters: Mrs Ralph Burton of Vienna, Mrs. Thomas W Davis of Valdosta, and Mrs. Alfred Leitner of Boston, Mass. 2 brothers: Richard Talley of Chattanooga, and Lewis Talley of Calhoun.
Bowen Donaldson was in charge of arrangements.
