NAMPA — William J. Harrington, 87, of 404 Horton, Nampa, died Sunday morning at a Nampa nursing home.
Born April 3, 1886, in Oberlin, Kan., he grew up there and married Hazel H. Harrington Hall on Aug. 30, 1911, in Cheyenne County, Kan. They farmed in Kansas before coming to Idaho in 1937, farming near Melba. They retired and moved into Nampa in 1962 and had since lived here. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel, Nampa; a son, Darell B. Harrington of Boise; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Virginia) Atkinson of Nampa and Mrs. Maurice (Bernice) Cantrall of Eureka, Mont., and Mrs. Charles (Louise) Flechter of Wiley, Colo.; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Eight children preceded him in death.
