Dorothy M. Tollefson, 70, of 3206 Kete St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, September 2,
1992, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 9:45 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
Officiating the service will be Rev. William Zimmer with burial to follow in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born October 7, 1921, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the
late John and Rose Daul Steder. She married Delore L. Tollefson, March 18, 1942,
in Manitowoc. She and her husband owned and operated the Anchor Inn Tavern in Two
Rivers for 14 years until their retirement in 1977.
Survivors include her husband, Delore L. Tollefson of Manitowoc; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Robert and Joanne Tollefson of Manitowoc, Michael and Linda
Tollefson of Manitowoc; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Carl Steder
of Minocqua, Lucille and William Schmalfeldt of Sheboygan Falls, Susan and Michael
Kolodzik of rural Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, Jeff Steder and Steve Steder,
Scott Schmalfeldt and Michelle Schmalfeldt, Tammy Tollefson, Eric, Luke and Matthew
Tollefson; two great grandchildren, Amanda and Brandon Steder; also surviving are
two brothers and a sister-in-law, Alvin and Margaret Steder of Mosinee, Francis
Steder of Greenwood, Wis.; two sisters, Anna Dewey of Green Bay and Adeline Klein
of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in
death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday.
