Barbara J. LaShomb, 73, of Elm St., died October 14, 2007 at her home. She was born March 5, 1934 in Massena, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Lena (Snyder) Snyder.
Barbara resided in Epping for the past 45 years, formerly she lived in Exeter, NH and New York areas. Barbara worked locally for the National Shoe Co. in Epping, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and baking in her spare time.
Mrs. LaShomb was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother for her family and cared specially for her daughter Brenda, who was born with Down's Syndrome.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, George LaShomb and 1 son, Herbert LaShomb.
Mrs. LaShomb is survived by four daughters, Deanna St. Laurent of Kingston, NH, Brenda LaShomb of Epping, NH, Jean Lizak of Newmarket, NH, and Sharon Norton of Raymond, NH, 3 sons, Lawrence LaShomb of Exeter, NH, Ricky LaShomb and George LaShomb both of Epping, NH, 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St. Epping, NH.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping, NH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Rte 101 Suite 501 Bedford, NH 03110 or to the Rockingham VNA & Hospice, 137 Epping Rd., Exeter, NH 03833.
