Services for Shirley Ann Wingate will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Eller-Weston Funeral Home, Colfax
Mrs. Wingate, 55, Colfax, died at 6:38 p.m. Dec 26, 1993 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was a homemaker and had worked for National Cigar Factory, Frankfort. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1956, attended Colfax Christian Church and was a former member of Colfax American legion Auxiliary.
She was born Aug. 27, 1938, in Boone County to Opal and Virginia McDaniel Parke. She married Charles Phillip Wingate in Colfax on Feb 25, 1956, and he survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Colfax; a son, Michael B. of Frankfort; a daughter, Deborrah J. Sledge of Colfax; a sister, Jacqueline Lodhi of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Max Parke of Colfax; and four grandchildren.
Her father and nephew preceded her in death.
The Rev. Howard Barefoot will officiate services. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Colfax. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Eller-Weston, Colfax.
