RAMSEY - Anna M. Matthews (nee Mann), 80, of Ramsey, formerly of Ridgewood, died Jan. 26. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood, and a member of it's Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Ridgewood Woman's Club.
She was the wife of Jerry T. Matthews of Ramsey, and the late Joseph A. Donovan Sr., who predeceased her in 1966.
She was the mother of Kathy Donovan and husband Larry Orlick of Oakland Calif., Michele DiPiano and husband Thomas of Ridgewood, Kevin Donovan and wife Jennie of Boone, N.C, Patrice O'Donnell and husband George of Bell Meade, N.J., Mary D. Grab and husband John of Wellsboro, Pa., John Donovan and wife Sharon of Templeton Calif ., Anne Donovan of Charlotte N.C. and the late Joseph A. Donovan Jr., who died in 1997.
She was the grandmother of T.J. and Meaghan DiPiano; Katie, and Eric Donovan; Caitlin, Patrick, and Bridget O'Donnell; Emily and Meredith Donovan; Jessica and Joseph Grab; Sarah, Katherine and Rachel Ashley.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held Jan. 29 at the Feeney Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, both in Ridgewood. Interment was in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 1 Bleeker St, Millburn NJ 07041 would be appreciated. Friends called Jan. 28.
