According to Known Confederate Burials of Carroll County Georgia 1861-1945, on file with West GA Library Special Collection:
F.A. Patterson was a Private in Civil War, born unknown
to 1890 was in Company B, 56th Georgia Infantry

From my research, Rev F A Patterson was a Captain in the 3rd West Virginia Cavalry who was captured at the Battle of Winchester (VA) on 15 June 1863. He was a POW until released from Camp Asylum in Columbia, South Carolina. His second wife, Mary A Williams Patterson is also buried at Concord UMC Cemetery. Her military pension records support Captain Patterson's service both with the West Virginia Cavalry and an earlier commission in the New York Cavalry. His father, Alexander Patterson, was the mayor of Key West.
Fielding Patterson was married first to my 3rd great aunt, Mary S Amiss in Washington, DC. Their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, died as an infant. If you would like more documentation, I would be happy to provide it.
