John Calloway Young, age 83, a native and resident of Fairford, AL., left this life on Thursday, January 5, 2012 doing what he loved, which was being outdoors and working in his yard. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, retired from International Paper Company and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Mr Young is survived by his wife, Mae O'Neal Young; three sons, Dirk Young of Mobile, AL., Mark Young and Marlin Young, both of Fairford, AL.; two sisters, Juanita Loper of Chatom, AL. and Barbara Haselmaier of Picayune, MS.; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special nephew, Dwight Young and many other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm Funeral Service Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Liberty Baptist Church. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery.
