She was born to the late Felix F. and Helen (nee Turton) Borowicz.
Lauretta was a 1951 graduate of Central School, Amherst and attended business school. Throughout her life she worked as an executive secretary. She had been employed at Thew Shovel, Lorain, Ford Motor Company, Lorain and lastly Chemtron of Avon.
During her life, Lauretta and her husband Dean enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Florida. In the past, she attended Church of the Open Door, Elyria. She was a 28 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous, attending meetings within Lorain County. Lauretta enjoyed reading and loved the pet cats she had during her life.
Surviving is her Husband of 53 years Dean T. Williams,
Sisters; Bea Clapp of Oberlin and Mary Lou Fowl of Glendale, Arizona;
Brother-in-laws; Richard (Virginia) Williams and Ken (Doris) Williams, both of Amherst;
Sister-in-law Ruth Williams of Amherst; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lauretta was preceded in death by brother-in-laws Glenn Clapp, Alvin Fowl, and Ronald Williams.
