Obituary - Gordon Conway Barton, 65, of Mesa, AZ passed away on December 6, 2011. He was born March 24, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah, but Mesa is his home.
He retired from Chandler Fire Department in 2001 after 27 years of service. He enjoyed wood working, art, reading and movies. He was a faithful member of the LDS church.
He is survived by his children, Sherry Grant, Cathy Driggs, Aaron Barton, Audrey Barton, Brooke Yavitz and their spouses, also 14 grandchildren and one great-granchild. He is also survived by his siblings, Noel Barton, Keith Barton, Denise Hagan, Jon Barton and Tanner Barton.
Services will be held Monday, December 13, 2011 at Parkcrest Ward Building located at 3920 E Brown Road, Mesa Arizona at noon.
Burial Services will take place Wednesday, December 15, 2011 at the Kaysville Cemetery in Kaysville, Utah.
