MARKSVILLE, La. - Carl Clarence Clement Sr., 62, of Marksville died at 12:45 p.m. Monday in a nursing home here. He was a retired rural mail carrier and a native of Pitkin.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Olga Armand Clement of Marksville; two sons, Carl Clement Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and James Clement of Miltitas, Calif.,; a daughters, Mrs. William Costa of San Jose, Calif.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Charles Phillips of Longview, Tex.; Mrs. Lindy Schott of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Allan Mers of Denton, Tex.; a brother, Horace Clement of Alexandria, and 13 grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros. of Marksville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here. Burial will be in the St. Joseph mausoleum.
