Nancy Mae Nichols, 60, of Lake Ozark passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at Osage Beach Health Care Center in Osage Beach.

Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 22, at Faithbridge Church, 885 College Blvd. in Osage Beach. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. to noon prior to service time at the church.

Nancy was born June 19, 1949, in Kansas City, the daughter of Willard and Thelma West Bright.

She was united in marriage to John Nichols on Jan. 4, 1986.

Nancy had worked as a property manager in the lake area for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, boating and scuba diving, and loved spending time with family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband, John, of the home; one daughter, Ann Larson, her husband, Jon, and their children, Jackson and Grace, of Lake Ozark; one stepdaughter, Christi Durran, her husband, Ron, and their children, Dustin and Calvin James, of Centralia; one stepson, Cliff Nichols, his wife, Dawn, and their son, Josh, of Columbia; two sisters, Wilma Dee Halford and husband Richard of Overland Park, Kan., and Carolyn Lambert and husband Daniel of Lawrence, Kan.; along with several other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
