FANKHAUSER , John Services Thursday:
John F. Fankhauser, 84, Rt. 2, Stryker, died Monday evening at Detwiler Memorial hospital, Wauseon, having been in failing health for two years. Two weeks ago he fell in his home and was taken to the hospital. Deceased spent his lifetime in this community and lived in the Stryker area for the past 22 years. He was a retired farmer.
Survived by his wife, Margaret, three daughters, Miss Ruth Fankhauser at home; Mrs. John (Idellia) Mandly, Delta; Mrs. Roman (Mae) Miller, Archbold; two sons, Marion of Holgate and Frederick of Riverside, Calif; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grand-children. Friends may call at Short Funeral Home, Archbold where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. N. B. Wierwill. Burial in Pettisville cemetery.
