Marcos Wood came to Oklahoma in 1874 from Bosques County Texas,was the son of James Wood and Mary Selman, He had two children born in Texas Horace born 1869 and George Greer born 1873 died 1950 Mayes Oklahoma. Horace must have died young,There is a baby wood buried in Bosque County Texas Riverside Cemetery that is where Alcy father is buried also. He was not on the 1880 Indian census, dont know if he died in Texas or in route to Oklahoma. Wiley E Born 1877 in Indian Territory Oklahoma on 1900, 1910, 1920 census he is in Oklahoma in 1930 census in Kansas death date 1959 Eldorado Kansas Foster E. born July 15, 1882 Indian territory Oklahoma he is on the 1900 census with Marcos Died June 24,1919 Seattle Washington. William Charley born Oct.16,1884 Indian territory Oklahoma died 1927 Oklahoma.Marcos tried to get on the cherokee Indian list through marriage but was denied, however all the children are on the list through there mother.
