Edna Eulala Tyson Dillard, 78, of Enigma died Friday, September 5, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2008 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. D Ray will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Ms. Dillard was born on October 27, 1929 in Worth County and was the daughter of John D. Tyson and Lettie Lenore Milam Tyson, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Wilington Dillard; and three brothers, Edward A. Tyson, Herman D. Tyson and J. Hubert Tyson. She was a retired convenience store manager and a member of Isabella Baptist Church. She authored "The History of Brookfield" in the book "The History of Tift County" in 1948.
