Frances Dale Holeman

GILMER — Funeral services for Dale Holeman, 70, of Big Sandy will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Life Tabernacle Church in Gilmer with Bro. Don Kitchell and Allen Freeman officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County .
Arrangements are by Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
Mrs. Holeman passed away Friday, January 6, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Holeman was born July 25, 1941, in Longview to William Alton and Wanda Lee Jenkins Baker. She was a homemaker, lived in Big Sandy for 25 years and was a member of the Life Tabernacle Church .

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Holeman of Big Sandy; sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Avde Freeman of Smoky Mountain, Tn., Anthony Freeman of Dallas, Tx., Alton and Maria Freeman of Celina, Tx. and Jeff and Melissa Holeman of Gilmer; daughters and sons-in-laws, Pam and David Burks, of Avinger, Tx., Shonda Walker of Albany, La., Michelle and Joseph Melerine of Albany, La., and Codi and Thomas Kruess of Nacogdoches, Tx.; sisters, Florence Freeman, Sherry Chastain, Billie Smeltzer, Georgia Cooke and Penny Bozell; 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Freeman and great-granddaughter, Ashlee Belle.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Freeman, Tracy Freeman, Daniel Holeman, David Johnston, Darren Freeman and Tim Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane Kitchell, Brian Kitchell, Don Holeman and Bobby Jack Johnston.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2012 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
